Monday 26th December 3.00pm
Whitby Town v North Ferriby United
Ferriby travel to next-to-bottom Whitby Town on Monday for an Evostik League Premier Division.
Ferriby will be looking for all three points against a side that has yet to win a league match at home this season. Ferriby Manager Billy Heath will be mindful, however, that Whitby beat The Villagers in the FA Cup earlier in the season in a match that was played before Heath became Manager.
A win for Ferriby would consolidate their mid-table position. The Evostik Premier division seems to be sorting itself into three distinct groups. A group of six is breaking away at the top of the table. Five clubs are in danger of being cast adrift at the bottom and the remaining clubs look to be heading for a mid table finish.
The focus of the season is now on finishing as high as possible in the table and developing a side to take the club forward nest season
.Ferriby Manager Billy Heath was pleased with Ferriby's win against Bradford in their last match, "It was a physically hard game but we deserved the win."
With last week's match at Nantwich postponed due to a waterlogged pitch Heath's injured players will have had the best part of a fortnight to recover from injury. Least likely to play may be Ben Morley who broke his toe against Bradford. Heath is likely to include new signing Greg Anderson. The experienced defender joined from Halifax last week. Both Sam Denton and Nathan Peat are suspended.
Probable Ferriby Squad: Steve Wilson, Adam Nicklin, Anthony Lloyd, Greg Anderson, James Bennett, James Williams, Kevin Larvin, Paul Foot, Chris Bolder, Paul Harsley,Peter Davidson, Wayne Brooksby, Russell Fry, Gary Bradshaw, Alex Davidson, Danny Clarke, Luke Thompson, Sam Belcher, Rob Moy, Luke Thompson
