Stafford Rangers v NFU (Evo Prem)

Saturday 19th  November 3.00pm

Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division
Stafford Rangers v North Ferriby United

Ferriby travel to Marston Road for their first ever meeting with Stafford Rangers on Saturday.

The Villagers will be hoping to put Tuesday's surprise East Riding Senior Cup defeat behind them as they look to continue to climb the league table.

Stafford are currently in 11th place two points ahead of Ferriby. Whilst it will be a tough match, Heath will have noted that Stafford have won only one home league match this season

Ferriby Manager Billy Heath was disappointed with Tuesday's result but, as he said after the match, "We had plenty of chances to score and didn't take them and when that happens you can't expect to win."

Heath's current target is for 47 points to ensure another season in the premier division. A point at Stafford will see The Villagers half-way there. Their approach football in recent weeks has seen the side return to something like its best form. Plenty of goal scoring opportunities are being created and Heath and his assistant manager Booby Carroll, have tightened up the defensive displays.

Heath will again have his full squad to choose from. He is unlikely to make too many changes to the 16 players for the match but may well alter his starting line-up.

Probable Ferriby Squad: Steve Wilson, Adam Nicklin, James Williams, Kevin Larvin,  Ben Morley, Nathan Peat, Paul Foot, Matty Plummer, Oliver Fisher, Greg Wright, Sam Denton, Chris Bolder, Peter Davidson, Paul Harsley, Russell Fry, Gary Bradshaw, Alex Davidson, Danny Clarke, Luke Thompson, Wayne Brooksby,
