Humber Rescue joining us for Non-League Day
We are so looking forward to welcoming all football fans to Ferriby for Non-League Day - new fans, old fans or visiting fans. We hope you have an enjoyable visit to the Chadwick Stadium. As well as coming along to support The Villagers, we hope you will also give generously to Humber Rescue who provide a wonderful lifesaving service from theri base beneath the Humber Bridge.
Carl Chadwick, North Ferriby United Owner and Chairman said,
"I hope you will agree that there is something special about North Ferriby. It's a great non-league setting and we have a great manager and young team working hard to bring in the results. We hope that Non-League Day will help give further impetuous to our season - both on and off the pitch. I hope you will join us and help cheer the Villagers on".
In addition, we are very pleased that Humber Rescue will join us on Saturday. Crew members will be holding a bucket collection to raise funds. Please give generously to support this essential service.
Chris Enderby, Humber Rescue crew member said,
“We're so pleased that North Ferriby is supporting us. The village falls within the 500 sq miles we cover that includes the Humber Estuary and the Hull and Ouse rivers. Based under the Humber Bridge, we operate about 100 callouts a year, providing frontline lifesaving services. All crew members are volunteers and charitable donations are essential in keeping this service running throughout the year. Thank you for supporting us."
Chris added, "I was pleased to play on the Ferriby pitch in an Under 17 cup final with Branshome Rangers back in 1996. We won then and I hope Humber Rescue being here today can bring Ferriby equally good fortune".
We hope you will come and join us for Non-League Day. You will find a welcoming atmosphere, a lovely ground to watch non-league football, a place to catch up with friends and family, a young football side working hard for survival, and, fingers crossed, a Ferriby victory!
Thank you for your support. Up the Villagers
