NFU vWorksop Town (DSLCC)

Tuesday 10th January 7.45pm

North Ferriby United v Worksop Town

Ferriby entertain Worksop Town on Tuesday in a Doodson Sports League challenge Cup match.

This will be the fourth time the clubs have met this season. The three earlier matches have seen only one goal when Ferriby when the FA Cup tie between the clubs.

Ferriby Manager Billy Heath is likely to play as full strength team as possible as he does not like to ring the changes unnecessarily. The Doodson Sports League Cup is Ferriby's own chance of lifting a trophy this season.

Heath will be expecting his players to lift themselves and display their character following their Saturday's defeat. It was definitely a rather below-par performance by The Villagers.

The Ferriby squad is an honest one and they will have been as disappointed with their performance as with the result.

The match must be played to a finish so will go to extra time and penalties if required.

Paul Foot, Gregg Anderson and Russell Fry all picked-up injuries at Chorley and will almost certainly the match. Hopefully Alex Davidson and James Bennett will be fit following illnesses that caused them to miss the game at Chorley.

Probable Ferriby Squad: Steve Wilson, Rob Moy, Dominic Riordan, Nathan Peat, Anthony Lloyd, James Bennett, Sam Denton, James Williams, Kevin Larvin,  Chris Bolder, Paul Harsley, Wayne Brooksby, Gary Bradshaw, Timothy Taylor, Danny Clarke, Sam Belcher,
