NFU v Marine (Evo Prem)

Saturday 12th November 3.00 pm

Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division
North Ferriby United v Marine

Ferriby return to Evostik Premier Division action on Saturday when Marine visit the Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

Marine are currently in sixth place and will be looking to maintain the pressure on the clubs in the play-off positions.

With five wins on the run, manager Billy Heath will be looking to his players to extend their run. Three successive league wins before this week's two cup successes have seen The Villagers climb-out of the relegation zone.

Heath will be keen to see Ferriby move further up the table and consolidate a mid-table position.

Speaking after Tuesday's 1-0 Doodson Sport League Cup win over Whitby Town Heath said, "It wasn't pretty. It was rather bitty. The players had to work hard to get the result. Sometimes that is what it's all about. In the end it was the result that mattered."

Heath should have the luxury of a full squad to choose from for Saturday's match. Chris Bolder, Ben Morley and Kevin Larvin all started Tuesday's match as they bid to return to full match fitness following long injuries. Defender Matty Plummer has re-joined the club after a season away.

Probable Ferriby Squad: Steve Wilson, Adam Nicklin, James Williams, Kevin Larvin,  Ben Morley, Nathan Peat, Paul Foot, Matty Plummer, Greg Wright, Sam Denton, Chris Bolder, Peter Davidson, Paul Harsley, Russell Fry, Gary Bradshaw, Alex Davidson, Danny Clarke, Luke Thompson, Wayne Brooksby
