NFU v Kendal Town (Evo Prem)

Saturday 3rd March 3.00pm
Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division

North Ferriby United v Kendal Town

Ferriby entertain Kendal Town in an  Evostik Premier Division match on Saturday.  Both teams are among a group of eight clubs within six points of each other in mid-table. The match will be dress rehearsal for the Doodson Sport League Cup Semi-Final at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium on Wednesday 21st March

The Villagers have put in some good in recent games but have not won any of their last eight league matches. They will consider themselves unlucky to have not got at least a point at Nantwich last Saturday. The Villagers hit the woodwork three times and the home goalkeeper was named man of the match for an outstanding performance.

Manager Billy Heath commented, "There were a lot of good things about our performance at Nantwich but we conceded two soft goals. However, we created chances and certainly did not deserve to lose."

March is going to be a busy and vital month for Ferriby. They have two games a week throughout the month with seven League games and the League Cup semi-final. It will certainly be a test of Heath's squad.

Heath will have to make some changes on Saturday asChris Bolder and Steve Gardner are suspended. Ben Hunter, a recent signing from Matlock Town, made his debut at Nantwich and will probably remain in the squad. Steve Wilson may be available again following work commitments.

Probable Ferriby Squad: Steve Wilson, Adam Nicklin, Dominic Riordan, Nathan Peat, Paul Foot,  James Williams, Kevin Larvin, Gregg Anderson, Russell Fry, Wayne Brooksby, Gary Bradshaw, Lee Morris, Ben Hunter, Timothy Taylor, Danny Clarke, Sam Belcher, Luke Thompson, Rob Moy
