East Riding senior Cup Second Round
North Ferriby United v Hessle rangers

Ferriby are back in cup action on Tuesday when Hessle Rangers visit the Rapid Solicitors Stadium in the East Riding Senior Cup

Ferriby are currently the holders and will be anxious to retain it. The Villagers have dominated this trophy since the mid 1990s with 12 victories in 15 seasons.

Hessle Rangers play in the Humber Premier League Premier Division and will surely be looking for a giant-killing act.

Ferriby Manager Billy Heath will make certain that his side will not be complacent in a match in which they will start clear favourites.

Saturday's Evostik Premier Division win over Marine saw Ferriby continue their climb up the table. Heath was particularly pleased with his team's second-half performance which saw them dominate the visitors. This was Ferriby's sixth consecutive win and, equally importantly, their third successive clean sheet.

Heath will have his full squad to choose from with the probable addition of Oliver Fisher who has been signed from Goole AFC. Heath is not usually inclined to make major changes for the minor cup competitions. He is likely to make changes to Saturday's starting line-up to give some of his squad some pitch-time.

Probable Ferriby Squad: Steve Wilson, Adam Nicklin, James Williams, Kevin Larvin,  Ben Morley, Nathan Peat, Paul Foot, Matty Plummer, Greg Wright, Sam Denton, Chris Bolder, Peter Davidson, Paul Harsley, Russell Fry, Gary Bradshaw, Alex Davidson, Danny Clarke, Luke Thompson, Wayne Brooksby, Oliver Fisher
