North Ferriby v Frickley Athletic

Ferriby will be looking to return to winning ways following Saturday's disappointing defeat at Chester.  The scoreline was harsh on The Villagers but some uncharacteristically untidy defending cost them dearly. They were left reflecting on how different it might have been had Gary Bradshaw's shot gone in rather than come back off the post when only 2-0 down.

Manager John Anderson side will no doubt be expecting his players to display their character and bounce back with a good performance against Frickley.  Notoriously slow starters to a league season, Ferriby have only one point fewer than at this time last season.

Frickley have had an indifferent start to the season with only one win and two draws in their opening seven games. On Saturday they lost 1-0 at home to Ashton United.

Chris Bolder is unlikely to play due to an ankle ligament injury but   apart from him, Anderson should have a full squad to choose from. Hopefully, Ferriby will have completed the loan signing of a striker from Grimsby Town.

Possible Ferriby Squad: Steve Wilson, Ben Morley, James Williams, Kevin Larvin, Paul Foot, Nathan Peat, Mark Greaves, Chris Bolder, Russell Fry , Gary Bradshaw, Wayne Brooksby, John Leonard, Mathew Stirland, Dan Wright, Phil Jackman
