NFU v Bradford PA (Doodson Cup QF)

Wednesday 15th  February 7.45pm
Evostik Northern Premier League Doodson Sport League Challenge Cup Quarter-Final

North Ferriby United v Bradford Park Avenue

Ferriby will be hoping that the cold spell breaks so that they can play Bradford Park Avenue in the quarter-final of the Doodson Sport League Challenge Cup. Manager Billy Heath will be keen to see his side progress in the only competition that they can win this season.

Ferriby have not played since the end of January and the players will be keen to be playing again.

Due to Bradford's fixture commitments, this match is being played on Wednesday rather than Ferriby's regular home match night of Tuesday.

Bradford are currently sixth in the Evostik Premier Division and the focus of their season may well be a play-off place and the possibility of promotion. However, with a semi-final place at stake they are likely to field a strong team team.

Games between Ferriby and Bradford always have a bit of an "edge" to them and Wednesday promises to be no different. The game has to be played to a finish so could go to extra-time and, if necessary, penalties

Nathan Peat is available again following suspension. Sam Denton has recovered from his leg injury and is available for selection.  New signing Lee Morris is cup-tied so will not make his home debut. Alex Davidson has signed for Bradford Park Avenue but will be cup-ties for Wednesday's match.

Probable Ferriby Squad: Steve Wilson, Adam Nicklin, Dominic Riordan, Nathan Peat, Sam Denton, Paul Foot,  James Williams, Kevin Larvin,  Gregg Anderson, , Chris Bolder, Russell Fry, Wayne Brooksby, Gary Bradshaw, Timothy Taylor, Danny Clarke, Sam Belcher, Luke Thompson
