Chorley v North Ferriby United
Ferriby travel to Chorley on Saturday for an Evostik League Premier Division match. Chorley are currently fourth in the division and will provide a stiff test for Billy Heath's team.
Chorley have some financial problems. The police are investigating a reported £70,000 hole in the club's accounts. They may get a financial boost on Saturday as disgruntled Blackburn Rovers are bein g urged to boycott Blackburn's FA Cup tie and watch Chorley instead. Chorley are managed by ex-Blackburn players Gary Flitcroft and Matt Jansen
Ferriby will no doubt relish the challenge of playing promotion-chasing Chorley. Predicting results in the division is difficult. Monday saw four of the bottom five won and the Evostik Premier NPL Premier Division remains a division in which all the teams are capable of beating each other.
Heath was pleased with the point The Villagers picked-up against in-form Worksop on Monday. "We were a bit disjointed at times but it was a decent performance against a team that is playing well. The result was probably a fair one."
Alex Davidson and Nathan Peat are available again following suspension. Ben Morley remains the only injury doubt so Heath should have virtually his full squad to select from. His recent signings have strengthened the squad and will increase the competition for places in the match day squads.
