Belper Town 0 NFU 1
Ferriby were made to work hard for this victory. Their Evostik Division One South opponents gave a determined and battling performance which unsettled Ferriby at times. On a pitch with somewhat overlong grass Ferriby found it hard to play their usual passing game.

Manager Billy Heath was pleased with another victory and a second clean sheet but felt his players could have performed better.

Ferriby started the more brightly and Jack Muldoon had two early opportunities. Paul Foot saw his header held on the line by home keeper Aaron Chapman.

Belper responded when Ashley Longstaff dispossessed Foot but Adam Nicklin did well to save Longstaff's shot.

Ferriby's former Belper player Lee Morris was constantly in the thick of the action., lobbing a shot narrowly over then setting-up a good chance for Muldoon.

Longstaff forced another good save from Nicklin as Belper created the better chances despite having less of the play.

Half-time saw both sides make numerous changes. Ferriby scored the only goal after 50 minutes when Gary Bradshaw headed home Ben Hunter's corner at the far post.

Ferriby began to control the game and Ferriby keeper Antoni Pecora had only two significant saves to make.

Ferriby  created more chances in the second half with Chris Hall, Bradshaw, twice, Muldoon, and Mark gray all going close.

The Villagers deserved their victory but Heath will be expecting a better performance at local rivals Brigg Town next Saturday.
