FA TROPHY HOLDERS 2015 & NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH PLAY-OFF CHAMPIONS 2016

Worksop Town v NFU (PSF)

Pre-season Friendly

Worksop Town v North Ferriby United

Thursday 25th July, 7.30pm

Ferriby continue their pre-season programme when they travel to Evostik Premier side Worksop Town on Thursday.

Worksop will provide a stern test for Ferriby. As always, Results are not the most important factor in pre-season games but good performances and results do provide a degree of confidence as the season proper approaches.

Ferriby had to work hard for their win at Lincoln United on Saturday. Late goals from Liam King and Ryan Kendall gave The Villagers  2-1. Ferriby dominated the second-half but were denied for most of the game by home keeper Gavin Saxby.

Manager Billy Heath will probably use most, if not all, of his squad during the game.

Jonathan D'Laryea and Dean Lisles are still unavailable as they recover from surgery. Ben Hunter and Adam Nicklin were both injured by poor challenges from Lincoln players. Russell Fry did not play due to a back injury but will, hopefully, be fit for Thursday.

NFU's probable squad : Adam Nicklin, Antoni Pecora, Dean Lisles, Paul Robson, Nathan Peat, Gregg Anderson, Sam Belcher, Matt Wilson, Liam King, Russell Fry, Danny Clarke, Ben Hunter, Jamie Yates, Ryan Kendall, Louis, Kirk, Danny Hone, Nathan Jarman, Anthony Wilson, Louis Bruce, Tim Taylor, Tom Davey, Ali Benson, Louis Mobbs

Ferriby play League One Scunthorpe United at the Eon Visual Media Stadium on Saturday 27th July with a 3.00pm kick-off. Scunthorpe will be sending their first team in what will be a stern test for The Villagers. Car parking (£2 to school funds) will be available at North Ferriby Primary School. Admission to the game is £5 and £3 for concessions. Gates open at 1.30pm.
