FA TROPHY HOLDERS 2015 & NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH PLAY-OFF CHAMPIONS 2016

Worksop Town v NFU (Evo Prem)

Worksop Town v North Ferriby United
Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division
Wednesday 22  August. KO 7.45 pm

North Ferriby United travel to Worksop Town for their second league match of the season.   Worksop began their season with a 5-3 defeat at Ashton United on Saturday.

Ferriby Manager Billy Heath was disappointed with Buxton's last-kick equaliser on Saturday. Grant Black's goal was unstoppable and probably one of the best goals that will be seen at the Rapid solicitors stadium this season. Heath commented, "We had enough chances to win the game, especially in the first-half. It was frustrating to lose so late in added time."

Ferriby have to go back to 2005 for an opening day win, Heath will be expecting a better performance at Worksop as Ferriby look for their first win. He does not want to drop too many points at this stage of the season as it is always difficult to play "catch-up" .

Ferriby were not at their best on Saturday but did create chances against a stubborn Buxton side. Buxton made no significant threat in the first despite a bright opening ten minutes. After that, The Villagers took control and deserved more than just Gregg Anderson's goal at half-time.

The second-half was more even but Buxton still posed little threat with Ferriby's looking comfortable for much of the game.

Chris Bolder is still suspended.  Kevin Larvin is likely to be out until Christmas through injury. Antoni Pecora and Chris White are unavailable.

Ferriby squad: Adam Nicklin, Rob Moy, Steve Gardner, Nathan Peat, Paul Foot, Gregg Anderson, Gary Bradshaw, Russell Fry, Lee Morris, Danny Clarke, Steve Ridley, Mark Gray, Jack Muldoon, Neil Stevens, Liam King, Ryan Kendall, Timothy Taylor James Williams, Dean Lisles, Ben Hunter, Chris Hall
