Worcester City v North Ferriby United (at Kidderminster Harriers FC)
Saturday 2 November
Kick-off 3.00 pm
North Ferriby United travel to Kidderminster on Saturday to play Worcester City. Worcester are currently homeless and are ground-sharing with Kidderminster Harriers.
Worcester are struggling at the moment and are in 20th place in the Skrill North. They have won one and drawn six of their 12 game so far. Goals have been in short supply in their games with Worcester scoring 12 and conceding 18.
Ferriby go in to the game on the back of a three game losing run. The Villagers are now fifth in the division and will be looking for victory in Saturday’s first ever meeting between the two clubs.
Ferriby’s FA Cup dream came to an end against Alfreton Town last Saturday. The Villagers matched Alfreton in virtually all departments. In the end the game was decided by Alfreton’s better finishing. Ferriby certainly had chances to win the game and were disappointed with the final result. The Villagers’ performance shows that they are able to v compete with Conference Premier sides.
Manager Billy Heath, “The last three results have been disappointing but we are still fifth in the division. You are always going to have a period where results take a dip. We are all determined to turn it round again on Saturday.”
Heath should have a full squad to choose from apart from Dean Lisles who remains doubtful due to an ankle injury and Nathan Jarman who is suspended. Mark Gray returns to the squad after being cup-tied against Alfreton
