Rushall Olympic v North Ferriby United Ferriby have two matches over the Bank Holiday weekend. On Saturday they make their first ever visit to Rushall Olympic in a dress rehearsal for the forthcoming Doodson Sport League Cup Final. The Final has been arranged for Saturday 28 April at Eastwood Town FC.
On Monday they play Whitby Town at home in a match that kicks-off at 3pm.
Ferriby have had an 11 day break since their last match and the players will be eager to get back on the pitch.
Rushall are one of a group of teams aiming to finish as high as possible in the League. Both clubs will obviously be keen to come out on top on Saturday and gain a possible psychological advantage for the Final.
It has been something of a mixed season for Ferriby. Results have tended to come in phases with a series of good performances being followed by a sequence of disappointing ones. Ferriby manager Billy Heath will be looking for his team to finish the season with a good to claim atop 10 spot and also win the Club's first cup at senior level.
Ferriby's last match was a 3-0 defeat to Champions-elect Chester FC. Heath was disappointed with the scoreline, "We matched them in most areas of the game except finishing. You really do have to take your chances against the top sides. Chester deserved the win on the night but the scoreline was harsh on us."
Heath will be without Gary Bradshaw, Steve Gardner and Kevin Larvin who are all suspended. The 11 day break should have allowed players to recover from any minor injuries so Heath should have virtually all his squad to choose from.
Probable Ferriby Squad: Adam Nicklin, Steve Wilson, Nathan Peat, Paul Foot, James Williams, Sam Denton, Gregg Anderson, Chris Bolder, Russell Fry, Lee Morris, Ben Hunter, Timothy Taylor, Danny Clarke, Tom Richardson, Wayne Brooksby, Sam Belcher
