Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division
North Ferriby United v Mickleover Sports

Ferriby entertain Mickleover Sports on Saturday. The Villagers' will be looking for a second successive win after Tuesday's victory over Ashton United ended a dismal losing run in the Evostik Premier Division.

Ferriby produced a pulsating attacking performance against Ashton and could easily have ended up with double figures.

Manager Billy Heath commented, "I was pleased for the players. They have had to live with a run of seven league defeats but this win has ended that. It will have given them some belief back in themselves.

"There were definitely positives to take from the match. Our forward play was superb and the build-up work was fantastic.

"As a team, we still have to improve defensively but I was pleased with the performance and the result. We now need more of the same on Saturday."

Tuesday's win saw Ferriby back to something approaching their best football and lifted them out of the relegation spots.

Ashton were continuously ripped apart by The Villagers' passing game and the fluid running both with and off the ball. Gary Bradshaw's highlight was perhaps the highlight if the game. Alex Davidson marked his return to the Club with two goals and influential midfielder Paul Harsley scored a penalty.

Chris Bolder and Ben Morley are still unavailable through long-term injuries. Kevin Larvin and new signing Danny Clarke were both substituted due to injuries against Ashton and are doubtful for Saturday.

Possible Ferriby Squad: Steve Wilson, James Williams, Nathan Peat, Kevin Larvin, Paul Foot, Greg Wright, Sam Denton, Peter Davidson,  Gary Bradshaw, Paul Harsley, Russell Fry, John Leonard, Mathew Stirland, Alex Davidson, Danny Clarke, Tom Clarke, Rob Moy, Luke Thompson
