North Ferriby United v Frickley Athletic
Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division
Monday 27 August. KO 3.00 pm
North Ferriby United complete their Bank Holiday weekend fixtures with a home match against Frickley Athletic.
The Villagers have had a mixed start to the season and Manager Billy Heath and his Assistant manager Mark Carroll will be looking to put one over their former club. Both agree that it is always good to do well against a former club but what really matters is a positive result for Ferriby.
Ferriby blew hot and cold in their first two games. They put-in good first half performances and could have been out of sight in both games. However, sub-standard second half performances and bizarre refereeing decisions saw late goals conceded and points dropped.
Heath was frustrated and commented,, "We shouldn't have been in the position where refereeing decisions cost us points. We had the opportunity to win both games but did not take our chances."
Heath will be looking to his players to lift their game and be consistent throughout the game.
Chris Bolder sits-out the final match of his suspension.
