NFU v Chorley (Evo Prem)

North Ferriby United open their Evostik Northern Premier League season when newly promoted Chorley visit The Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

Chorley will be on a high after winning Division One North. They will be looking to make their mark against a Ferriby side that reached last season's promotion play-offs.

It is going to be a difficult season for Ferriby. As Manager John Anderson says, "This league gets stronger each year. We've shown that we can more than hold our own at this level but it will still be a challenge to do well."

Pre-season results were mixed but Anderson views pre-season as "six weeks of hard work that hopefully gets you going for the first League match."

Keeper steve Wilson is available again after missing the final two pre-season matches. Russell Fry trained on Tuesday and if Thursday's training goes well he should be fit to play.

Possible Ferriby Squad: Steve Wilson, Ben Morley, James Williams, Kevin Larvin, Paul Foot, Nathan Peat, Mark Greaves, Chris Bolder, Russell Fry , Gary Bradshaw, Wayne Brooksby, John Leonard, Sam Belcher, Mathew Stirland, Jonathan Creek, Luke Thompson, Leon Rudd, Dan Wright
