North Ferriby United v Cammell Laird
Doodson Sport League Challenge Cup Semi-Final
Wednesday 3rd April 2013 KO 7.45 pm
Ferriby play their third game in five days when they entertain Division One North promotion challengers Cammell Laird in the Doodson Sport League Cup at the Rapid Solicitors' Stadium on Wednesday.
Ferriby will obviously start as favourites but Manager Billy Heath will expect his players to show Laird professional respect and not be over-confident.
Two wins over the Easter weekend saw Ferriby go eight points clear at the top of table and increased pressure on the chasing pack.
Promotion still remains Ferriby's priority this season but they will not want to give-up the trophy that they won last season.
Heath will be no doubt make changes to the starting line-up that won those games. He is likely to give starts to those players who have started on the bench in recent weeks and will bring in some of the Club's Reserve team players. Competition rules prevent him from resting too many players.
Defender Gregg Anderson may miss-out with a slight Achilles problem but, otherwise, Heath should have a full squad to choose from.
Probable Ferriby squad: Adam Nicklin, Antoni Pecora, Paul Robson, Steve Ridley, Steve Gardner, Gregg Anderson, Paul Foot, Mark Gray, Nathan Peat, Liam King, Russell Fry, Danny Clarke, Chris Bolder, Ryan Williams, Anthony Wilson, Ryan Kendall, Gary Bradshaw, Rob Youhill, Jason Stokes, Louis Kirk, Tim Taylor
Admission prices have been reduced to Adults (£5), Concessions (£3) and under-16s (£1). Everybody must pay as the game is a cup-tie. The game must be played to a finish so there will be extra-time and penalties if necessary.
