FA TROPHY HOLDERS 2015 & NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH PLAY-OFF CHAMPIONS 2016

NFU v Bradford PA (SN)

North Ferriby United v Bradford Park Avenue
Skrill North

Saturday 28 December
Kick-off 3.00 pm

North Ferriby play what is now  their second  game of the festive season when they entertain Bradford Park Avenue at the Eon Visual media Stadium on Saturday.

Ferriby will be looking to kick-start their festive programme following a home defeat to Colwyn Bay and the abandonment of their game at Gainsborough on Boxing Day due to floodlight failure. The abandonment at Gainsborough was frustrating. The first-half was a fairly even affair but The Villagers were on top when some of the lights failed. The game will be re-scheduled, probably in February.

The Villagers are sixth in the Skrill North. Bradford  are comfortably placed in mid-table but will still provide a stern test for Ferriby. Ferriby won the reverses fixture earlier in the season and will be looking to complete the double.

Games between the two clubs are usually quite feisty and Saturday’s game promises to be no exception.

The situation at the top of the Skrill North remains tight with four points covering the top six teams. The second-half of the season is going to be a testing time for all the promotion hopefuls.

Ferriby manager Billy Heath should have a full squad to choose from apart from Nathan Peat who is sitting-ot a one match suspension and Mark Gray who is recovering from a groin injury.

NFU from: Adam Nicklin, Antoni Pecora, Paul Robson, Gregg Anderson, Danny Hone, Matt Wilson, Jonathan D’Laryea, Liam King, Russell Fry, Danny Clarke, Anthony Wilson, Nathan Jarman, Ben Hunter, Jamie Yates, Ryan Kendall

Remaining Festive period fixtures:

1 January Gainsborough (Home, 3pm)
4 January Hednesford Town (Away, 3pm)
