Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division
Mickleover Sports v North Ferriby United
Ferriby travel to Mickleover for an Evostik Premier Division match on Saturday. Mickleover have reduced their admission prices to £4.50, £2.50 and 50 pence for under-16s for this match in an attempt to attract some support for their relegation fight.
This will be a challenging game for The Villagers. Mickleover are in a relegation spot and will be desperate for three points to help their survival battle. Ferriby manager Billy Heath will be looking for a strong finish to the season from his team. He will want to finish as high as possible and will hope to be in the top ten, if not higher at the end of the season.
Against Chasetown, Ferriby were thwarted three times by the woodwork, a missed penalty and some good saves from visiting goalkeeper Ryan Price. All this left Manager Billy Heath a little frustrated after the game. Heath said "We played some good football and virtually dominated the game. We had plenty of chances to have won the game."
Ferriby have shown growing confidence in recent games and have been creating chances with their fluid football. Heath will be looking for another confident display on Saturday as his team build-up to next Wednesday's home League Cup semi-final against Kendal Town.
Steve Gardner is definitely out with an ankle ligament injury. Goalkeeper Adam Nicklin was substituted at half-time on Tuesday due to his ankle causing him problems but it is hoped he will be fit.
Probable Ferriby Squad: Adam Nicklin, Steve Wilson, Nathan Peat, Paul Foot, James Williams, Sam Denton, Kevin Larvin, Gregg Anderson, Chris Bolder, Russell Fry, Gary Bradshaw, Lee Morris, Ben Hunter, Timothy Taylor, Danny Clarke, Tom Richardson, Wayne Brooksby, Rob Moy
