FA TROPHY HOLDERS 2015 & NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH PLAY-OFF CHAMPIONS 2016

Blyth Spartans v NFU (Evo Prem)

Blyth Spartans v North Ferriby United

Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division
Monday 1 April 2013 KO 3.00 pm

League leaders Ferriby travel to play-off hopefuls Blyth Spartans on Easter Monday. Ferriby will be looking for points to maintain their title challenge. Ferriby beat Blyth at Blyth at the end of March in the Doodson Sport Cup,

Saturday's results saw Ferriby maintain their six point lead at the top of the Evostik League as second-placed Hednesford Town also won.

AFC Fylde, FC United of Manchester, who both won on Saturday, and Rushall Olympic, who lost, will not have given up hopes of the title so a tense finish is expected over the next six weeks. With at least another five teams still in contention for the four play-off spots teams will drop points as matches between promotion rivals happen each week.

Heath was happy after Saturday's demolition of bottom side Eastwood Town, "Our first-half performance was superb. We over-complicated things a bit in the second-half but the result was tremendous. I certainly expect Monday's match to be a tougher game."

This is a busy and crucial week for Ferriby. As well as playing Blyth on Monday,  Ferriby entertain Cammell Laird in the semi-final of the Doodson Sport Cup on Wednesday and travel to Ilkeston FC the following Saturday.

Heath should have a full squad to choose from at Blyth. Danny Clarke is the only injury doubt but is expected to be fit. New signing Jason Stokes who has joined from Gainsborough Trinity may be added to the squad.

Possible Ferriby squad: Adam Nicklin; Gregg Anderson, Steve Gardner, Paul Robson, Paul Foot, Mark Gray, Nathan Peat, Liam King, Russell Fry, Danny Clarke, Chris Bolder, Ryan Williams, Anthony Wilson, Ryan Kendall, Gary Bradshaw, Steve Ridley, Rob Youhill, Jason Stokes, Antoni Pecora
